I’m Celeste Kylie Hill, welcome to my online gallery!

This is where I share a range of art works, from formative, to conceptual and finished pieces.

You can also browse my personal memoirs. Enjoy your visit, and if something resonates with you, please let me know ♡

Who am I?

I’m an artist and environmental educator in Kaurna Country, South Australia. I use creativity, stories, emotion and meaning to promote richer connections with nature that can enhance both wellbeing and conservation outcomes in our community.

The aim of my wildlife portraits is to inspire deeper appreciation of the diverse forms of intelligence that other species have, despite how different they are.

My art is driven not only by my passion for life in all its diversity, but by sound understanding, developed through degrees in evolutionary biology and ecology and my doctoral research into human-nature connection.

My memoirs ‘paint’ a background of realistic daily chaos and struggle - candid context for my art practice. Emotions that arise from daily challenges, whether it positive, like Joy and hope, like anger, frustration and sadness, give me valuable fuel for my creativity - and make me all the more determined to succeed in my areas of passion.

Creativity is the expression of my most authentic voice. As such, it’s the most impactful way I can contribute to a world of deepening darkness and increasing personal need.

Some memoirs touch on difficult topics, like ageing, mortality and conflict in relationships, so I provide links to mental health resources in the site footer.
