Welcome to my online gallery!
My wildlife portraits celebrate Australia’s biodiversity — sharing the awe and curiosity these creatures inspire.
Pet portraits capture the warmth and joy we feel with our animal companions.
Rich textures and vivid colours are my signature style, as I render animals with dynamic energy and imagination.
I use mixed media, including acrylic paints and stone powders, soft pastels and oil pastels. All work is protected by multiple coats of polymer varnish.
This technique creates a flexible coating that won’t crack or discolour.
On the ‘sketches’ page, I share a peak behind the scenes, with a selection of concept sketches.

Who am I?
Born and raised in South Australia, I grew up surrounded by artists and gardeners—and with a lifelong fascination with the natural world.
My creative work, from art to garden design and videos, is shaped by my background in evolutionary biology and ecology. My doctoral research explored the meaning and benefits of connecting with nature, and I’ve come to believe that this connection is fundamental to human wellbeing.
In the middle of my PhD in 2021, I hit a wall of emotional burnout. To find my way back to myself, I returned to something I’d loved as a child: making art.
It changed more than I expected. I realised that creating is when I feel most alive—and that art is one of the deepest ways I connect with nature.
I’ve been following that thread ever since.
I hope you get joy and inspiration from my work. You are welcome to contact me with any questions.
