Welcome to my online gallery!
My wildlife portraits celebrate Australia’s biodiversity — sharing the awe and curiosity these creatures inspire.
Pet portraits capture the warmth and joy we feel with our animal companions.
Rich textures and vivid colours are my signature style, as I render animals with dynamic energy and imagination.
I use mixed media, including acrylic paints and stone powders, soft pastels and oil pastels. All work is protected by multiple coats of polymer varnish.
This technique creates a flexible coating that won’t crack or discolour.
On the ‘sketches’ page, I share a peak behind the scenes, with a selection of concept sketches.

Who am I?
Born and raised in South Australia, I’m from a family of artists and gardeners. My mission is to inspire others to deeply connect with nature. Strong connections with nature are a foundation of human wellbeing.
All my creative work — from art, to garden design and videos, is informed by my studies in evolutionary biology and ecology. My doctoral research also explored the meaning and benefits of good relationships with nature.
Right in the middle of my PhD in 2021, I hit a wall of emotional burnout, from family circumstances and health challenges. To revive my soul and find strength to continue, I rekindled a childhood love of artwork. The effect was more profound than I expected. I realised that artistic expression is how I feel most alive and art is the way I connect with nature most deeply. So I’ve been developing my art practice ever since.
I hope you get joy and inspiration from my work. You are welcome to contact me with any questions or ideas.
