One rule.

The only rule I have for this diary is this: I will limit myself to a maximum 250 words (half a page) for each diary entry, That way, my main point will be a lot easier for me to focus on, and easier for you to see. Your welcome.

So here’s my first point.

Knowing “the right path” or having life “figured out”… actually gets in the way of ART. There is no such thing as The Right Path™

That holds true for life in general and is certainly the case for being an artist. So, what does it mean to be creative? What does it mean to “do art”?

For me - and you’re free to disagree - it means exploring without having answers. Art is about expressing how it feels to live in this universe, without knowing what it’s all about. It’s about having loads of questions and coming up with a few imaginative answers.

The ‘answers’ don’t need to be proven - they just need to be fun, hopeful, or give some benefit that makes them worth having. You know, like the Bible, or the works of Shakespeare. Remember, we’re talking about art - not science.
